Who Do You Say He Is

The heart of Luke 09 centers around an intimate conversation between Jesus and his followers. The first question is a question of popular consensus. Who do people say that he is? Then he probes deeper to what really matters. Who do you — you yourself — say that I am? The question of personal conviction shapes our lives. We will follow him to death if we believe he is the Resurrection and the Life. We will deny ourselves only for something more beautiful, precious and priceless, a relationship with Jesus. I encourage you to examine how you have answered Jesus this week.
