Dear FM Family,

There is good news. Christ has died. Christ has risen. And Christ WILL come again. We declare those words every time we celebrate communion together. That declaration is especially true this Easter. The resurrection of Christ was a history changing event. While we may not gather together this Sunday (but if the Lord wills we shall soon!), remember where the disciples were on that morning. They too were locked behind doors. Afraid and unsure of what would happen next, but peace stepped into their safe places. Nothing keeps the Risen Lord to come near to us. Please complete our Connect Card (CLICK HERE) before we begin worship.

CALL TO WORSHIP

Psalm 22:22–31 (ESV)

22 I will tell of your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you: 23 You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you offspring of Jacob, glorify him, and stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel! 24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, and he has not hidden his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him. 25 From you comes my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will perform before those who fear him. 26 The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the LORD! May your hearts live forever! 27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. 28 For kingship belongs to the LORD, and he rules over the nations. 29 All the prosperous of the earth eat and worship; before him shall bow all who go down to the dust, even the one who could not keep himself alive. 30 Posterity shall serve him; it shall be told of the Lord to the coming generation; 31 they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it.

Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me)   LYRICS  |  VIDEO

Verse 1
One day when heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men my example is He
The Word became flesh
And the light shined among us
His glory revealed

Chorus
Living He loved me dying He saved me
Buried He carried my sins far away
Rising He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
O glorious day (glorious day)

Verse 2
One day they led Him up Calv’ry’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish despised and rejected
Bearing our sins my Redeemer is He
The hand that healed nations
Stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

Verse 3
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose over death He had conquered
Now is ascended my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him
The grave could not keep Him
From rising again

Bridge
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day my beloved one bringing
My Savior Jesus is mine

PRAY TOGETHER

SCRIPTURE READING

1 Corinthians 15:1–11 (ESV)

1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. 7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. 8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

  • It’s Good News Because Belief Equals Living Hope (11).

Lead Me To The Cross   LYRICS  |  VIDEO

Saviour I come quiet my soul
Remember redemption’s hill
Where Your blood was spilled
For my ransom

Pre-Chorus
Ev’rything I once held dear
I count it all as loss

Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Oh lead me lead me to the cross

Verse 2
You were as I tempted and tried human
The word became flesh
Bore my sin in death
Now You’re risen

To Your heart
To Your heart
Lead me to Your heart
Lead me to Your heart

RESPONSES

You can give.

We give as a church because giving is an essential part of our worship.
In Matthew 6,  Jesus says, “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”. So, we invite you to joyfully give to the God who has given us everything.

You can pray.
  • What did you hear today?
  • How is the Holy Spirit leading you?
  • Who do you need to tell?

If you received the gospel and are beginning a relationship with Jesus, please let us know! We want to help you on your new journey. Maybe you’re returning to a relationship with Jesus and we can help. Share your prayer requests with us. You do not have to walk alone during this time. [My Prayer Request]
