Opportunities

‘Only one life twill soon by past, only what’s done for Christ will last.’ Every day is filled with great opportunities. In Luke 13, Jesus highlights several. Repentance. Healing and forgiveness. Salvation and discipleship. Jesus confronts both the religious crowd (v10-17) and the society at large (v31-35). What response is Jesus seeking? He seeks the same from us as well.

We’re praying for our upcoming deacon nominations which will begin on April 8. Each day the requests are shared on our Facebook page or you can download the entire week here.

Use these questions to read, reflect, and live out Luke 13 this week:

Luke 13v1-9
Why should we repent immediately?

Luke 13v10-17
Who magnifies Jesus here? Who doesn’t?

Luke 13v18-20
How can small beginnings lead to great endings?

Luke 13v21-30
How can we enter through the narrow door? (cf 8.12; 13.3,5)

Luke 13v31-35
What causes Jesus’ lament here?

The Small Groups will study Luke 12 beginning April 1.
