- WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY
We’re excited to have Paul Cook lead us in worship this Sunday. Paul is a graduate of Dallas Christian College and a principal for HEB ISD. He served alongside Sandy & Clell. Take a moment to pray our Easter guests return this Sunday. Let’s make room for them this week by moving front and center. Read and pray through Luke 14 if you haven’t already. - ALL IN TOGETHER
You may hear us talking about the Cooperative Program. Like nuts and bolts, the Cooperative Program enables us to do more when we’re connected with other churches. We can do more when we’re all-in together. It’s a good time to renew our ‘All-In’ Commitment: to gather weekly, read the Jesus Project reading guide, and bring a guest each month. - SECRET CHURCH
Secret Church is Friday, April 20 at 6:00p in Fellowship Hall. For the good of our souls and for the sake of the church’s mission, followers of Christ need to ask, “What false gospels are being taught today?” and “How can I recognize the true gospel among so many counterfeits?” Answering these questions will be the aim of Secret Church 18, “Cults and Counterfeit Gospels.” Register by contacting the church office. - ROOTS CLASS
If you feel God may be leading you to FMFB or you just want to know more about us, our ROOTS class is the place for you. During this class you will hear the story of FMFB, meet some of the staff and leadership, learn about covenant membership, get to know others seeking a church home, and have the opportunity to ask questions that are important to you. Roots is a pre-requisite for Covenant Membership at Flower Mound First Baptist. Email ‘Roots Class’ to the church offfice to sign up for our next class which will be April 22. - DEACON NOMINATIONS
We will begin accepting nominations on April 8. As you pray and consider, think of Moses. Heb 3v5, ‘Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant.’ That’s an apt description of who we are looking for. Submit your nomination online through this website or pick up a nomination form at our connection table. All nominations will be screened by the pastor and deacons.
