Dear FM Family,
I used to enjoy reading the news everyday. Now, it’s more of a burden. There isn’t much good news. Yet, look below at Isaiah 40.9. God’s Word has good news for every day. Today dive into the good news of the gospel. Read it. Rejoice it. And repeat. It never grows old. I promise. So every now and again step away from COVID19 and hear God speaking to you.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Isaiah 40:9–11 (ESV)
9 Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!” 10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 11 He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.
SONGS FOR WORSHIP
Better Is One Day Lyrics Video
Verse 1
How lovely is Your dwelling place
O Lord almighty
For my soul longs and even faints for You
For here my heart is satisfied
Within Your presence
I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings
Chorus
Better is one day in Your courts
Better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts
Than thousands elsewhere
(Than thousands elsewhere)
Verse 2
One thing I ask and I would seek
To see Your beauty
To find You in the place
Your glory dwells
(REPEAT)
Bridge
My heart and flesh cry out
For You the living God
Your Spirit’s water to my soul
I’ve tasted and I’ve seen
Come once again to me
I will draw near to You
I will draw near to You to You
Bridge
Better is one day better is one day
Better is one day than thousands elsewhere
Better is one day better is one day
Better is one day than thousands elsewhere
Confidence Lyrics Video
Verse 1
I’m not a warrior
I’m too afraid to lose
I feel unqualified for what You’re calling me to
But Lord with Your strength
I’ve got no excuse
‘Cause broken people are
Exactly who You use
Chorus
(So) Give me faith like Daniel in the lion’s den
Give me hope like Moses in the wilderness
Give me a heart like David Lord be my defense
So I can face my giants with confidence
Verse 2
You took a shepherd boy
And made him a King
So I’m gonna trust You and give You everything
I’ll be a conqueror
‘Cause You fight for me
I’ll be a champion claiming Your victory
Bridge
I’m gonna sing and shout and shake the walls
I won’t stop until I see ’em fall
Gonna stand up step out when You call
Jesus (Jesus)
Ending
I’ll face my giants with confidence

SCRIPTURE READING
1 Corinthians 6:1–8 (ESV)
1 When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? 2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! 4 So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? 5 I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, 6 but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? 7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8 But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even your own brothers!
CLOSING SONG
Jesus Paid It All Lyrics Video
Verse 1
And I hear the Savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness watch and pray
Find in Me thine all in all
Chorus 1
‘Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Interlude
(It’s washed away)
(All my sin and all my shame)
Verse 2
Lord now indeed I find
Thy pow’r and Thine alone
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone
Verse 3
And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat
Interlude
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
He washed it white as snow
He washed it white as snow
Chorus 2
Oh praise the One Who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead
(Jesus)
