READ Matthew 5.1-12
We trust God to make us holy. We trust his goodness that he will. We trust his power that he can. Why do we struggle sometimes to believe he can make us truly happy? Why would doubt that he would if he is good? The Bible speaks about our joy and happiness more than 3,000 times. Even more the Bible says only God can make us happy. Nothing else satisfies and anything else is a faulty substitute. Happiness is not merely what happens to us but the good God brings through us.
