Warnings

Jesus continues to highlight the issue of money in the context of discipleship. The good news is a warning against finding happiness in earthly treasures. They lead our hearts away from a abundant, everlasting relationship with God. Jesus warns his listeners – then and now – to respond to his message before it is too late. The final parable in the chapter is a sober reminder. Judgment is real and hell is filled with anguish and regret.

Last night our member meeting concluded with a group prayer time on revival. Would you join me in fervently praying this for our body? So that we might agree with one another you can download those requests here or pick up a copy from the office.
